Modern alchemy

An apprentice begins their journey into modern alchemy by believing that all problems can be solved as problems of transmutation.

In modern alchemy there is no law of equivalent exchange. There are plentiful free lunches, opportunities to convert a little of something into much more of itself, or what's unnecessary into an abundance of treasures.
