Time is an illusory ingredient
Anything that asks for time is actually asking for other, often multiple, hidden ingredients. Whether iterations of a particular metric, experience with edge cases, or an implicit belief that more exposure to life's vast space of experience will shape you in particular ways.
But seeing past the facade is good - realizing this can help us overcome mental barriers about experience or "consensus time" and directly work on whatever we find the actual bottlenecks to be. A given target might have many challenging requirements, but "X years of experience" is almost never one of them; whatever the ask, a response of "X needs time" is rarely about time.
